Located in the former Thyme after Thyme location, a beloved Winterville staple for many years, we reopened the property as Sunrise Nursery in Spring of 2021. ​

 

Our mission is to inspire and enrich each customer's well-being through the process of designing individual living spaces. We believe in environmental stewardship and we hope to renew and spark interest in horticulture and plants. We believe in relationships with our customers and offer an assortment of the highest quality plants that are competitively priced. We're pesticide and herbicide free, employing all natural growing methods.

We specialize in native and pollinator plants but we also have seasonally available trees, annuals, and perennials. Our mascot/greeter is "Tux" the garden pup! Bringing your kiddo? We have a kids corner set up where they can paint a pot or rock!

Our hope for the future is to work with local school systems developing and expanding horticulture therapy programs and creating community gardens to educate and support food sustenance. We aspire to become a destination for all to enjoy not only our plants but also to cultivate an appreciation for spending time in gardens, either alone or with others, experiencing healing and spreading joy!
